Anthems and Protests ---
While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.
Thank you for understanding.

Yeah, I've listened to the album-- I don't know how it compares to Lateralus because you can never fully soak in all that is Tool on the 1st couple listens.
I'm pissed because I missed out on my chance to get a reasonably priced seat to their show in Denver on the 10th and now tickets are going for upwards of $200-- I tried to get a ticket 15 minutes after they went on sale and they were already long gone....
Last time they toured I saw them in Boulder, Denver and Colo Springs & they're one of my favorite live bands. Something to be said for a drummer with a gold drum set, not to mention Danny Carrey & Maynard are gods in their own rights.
Anyway, I'll post some more feedback on the album once I listen to it a few more times-- Whatever that song is where it starts out with Maynard doing vocals (Edit: I believe it's track 5, "The Pot") all alone is pretty sweet, he's got such an amazing voice.
Tool F'n Tool!

I'm not a big fan of tool myself but they 've got a couple of songs i like. and I can't see paying 200$ for a concert but to each his own. and I hear they stand around alot at there shows. but that's just what i hear.

tool at red rocks was the first concert i ever went to. 110 or so concerts later and its still first on my list. Course we have 4 row seats and my ears rang for a week
the detail and imagination that goes into their music is incredible

If you're talking about the show in 2000, I WAS THERE!!!
I saw A Perfect Circle at Red Rocks, but I didn't get to Tool when they were there... I'm sure that was an amazing show-- I'm still trying to score a ticket to the show on Wednesday, but it's not looking promising. So frustrating...
What are everyone's thoughts on the new album? I'm liking it, find myself drawn to tracks 1, 2, 4, 5 the most... 5, The Pot, is my favorite thus far.

Way to go on buying the album... Tool is quality music anyway you slice it....
I found this article which I thought was a pretty decent read, gave me some insight into the album... Tracks 3-4 are for/about Maynard's mother who died apparently--
