Anthems and Protests ---
While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.
Thank you for understanding.

What do you guys think? Looks pretty cool but I still don't like the new suit. I think Des Moines native Brandon Routh was a great choice to play Clark Kent but I'm not that impressed with his Superman. He looks pretty skinny, I think he should of bulked up a bit more.
Not sure about Spacey's Lex Luthor either. I hope he doesn't act by trying to do his best Gene Hackman impression.
My understanding is that this movie is supposed to take place a few years after the events of Superman 2.
I think this movie souly relies on the abilities of Brian Singer. If you look at what he did for X-Men, I think he'll be able to make us like his Superman. I'm a little weary about the actors, mainly Routh but I think Spacey will do a good job. And I'm with you, I still have reservations about the suit.

I definitely agree. Coincidentally, it's one of the reasons that the new X-Men movie worries me.

I still don't understand why, if this movie is supposed to be set several years after the events of the first two films, they cast a Superman and a Lois who are both in their early 20s (and ironically both younger than the actors who play their "teenage" selves on Smallville).

Very true. I've had the same worry ever since it came to my attention that Singer jumped ship. Especially when I found out who's directing "The Last Stand." However, after listening to the trailer and watching some of them and reading a little about the film, I do believe we won't be disappointed. Sure it probably won't be the same without Singer on board, but I think having the same cast will serve as the life-saver for this one.
Plus I read in Entertainment Weekly that this isn't the last X-Men film, however I'm not sure if the producers were including the breakaways about Wolverine and Magneto, or if they plan on continuing the current saga. He did mention there were too many characters to introduce and develop for it to end at 3.

It will have the song by John Williams in it, so atleast we don't have to worry about them, doing some sort of cheap edge pop/hip hop/ rock song as the the "New" Superman theme

Really? Is that official or are you just guessing that based on the trailers? Too many times the marketing for movies uses music that isn't actually in the movies they're promoting.

I've seen pictures of the new Juggernaut.
I repeat, I am worried.

It's going to use some of John Williams music from the first movie, other than that, it will be scored by John Ottman.
