Anthems and Protests ---
While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.
Thank you for understanding.

although i must agree about the re introduction of the storyline to the younglings...
but i know the story...
im not that young...
and im not theee biggest fan of comic movies... although some rock!!! ie. x-men...
but a B+...
well...
ill have to take your word for it as imax must have made the movie waaay more intense and blured out the mediocre acting...
I thought the sibling would be considered a twist. Most of the younger group of people have not seen the older movies nor about to do to special effects and all.
Did they seperate the story line that much? It's been a while since I seen the older ones but thought they did a great job bringing superman back, also liked how they brought Batman back even though most younger group would not find it as exciting as X-men.

That might not seem to be that big of a deal until you look at their budgets. Superman cost $260 million to make compared to $210 million for X-Men 3. Despite a much bigger opening weekend, X-Men has earned only $228 million to date. That tells me that Superman isn't going to come anywhere close to making a profit in the theaters and will probably be lucky to break even after the DVD comes out.
So, will the next Superman flick (scheduled for 2009) have to cut way back on its budget? Or will the studio eat the loss and just hope for a bigger payday the next time around?
In addition how much did X-men 1 do. Look for superman 2 and so on to increase with the story line opened up for everyone.

Sibling? What are you guys talking about? There's nothing about siblings in the movie. You're refering to something else entirely. I guess I'll be nice to those who haven't seen it yet and not discuss it. But you know what I'm talking about.
and it wasn't much of a twist since it was easy to spot. I thought that's where they were going with it from the first scene he showed up in. Everything about him was the opposite of Superman... it was way too obvious to be a twist.
