I'll volunteer another one, that many of you likely haven't heard:

The Crossing (from the Big River soundtrack)

Well, you did said they got you a little choked up, and since I don't know you personally, maybe my comment was a bit misplaced.

But since you asked, I was referring specifically to:

    In The End- Linkin Park
    Runaway Train- Soul Aslyum
    One Headlight- Walflowers

...But again, we all have our reasons. Just because the songs might not do much for me, doesn't mean they're not meaningful to anyone else.

Not really because of the lyrics, but because it was played at my first boyfriends funeral after he was killed in a car accident.

    OUCH. I'm sorry.

EDIT: Once again, with 4 posts in a row, I get the feeling that I'm posting after everyone else has gone to bed!

No offense to you or your grandmother...

but I never thought of that as a sad song before. I guess I can sorta see it from your perspective now.

    Blind me, erased what was
    Stillborn I have become
The feelings I once felt are now dead and gone
I've waited here for you for so very long
So empty, just a shell of a man
    Stillborn, this I understand
The feelings I once felt are now dead and gone
I've waited here for you for so very long

just reminds me of a miscarriage my wife at the time had.
