  • Guitar Help

I've been practicing on playing the guitar for a few months now and I can play songs using the notes, but I need help when trying to use chords. Where do I start off when learning to play chords and how do you know what chords are connected to each note?

--- There are a lot of sites on the web

--- Some are scams and rip-offs --- Some are good ---

--- When I first began learning, modern computers weren’t invented yet ---

--- I don't know how much you know, but if you haven't mastered chords, you are a begginner ---

--- My advice is to start your lessons from the beginning, and don't try to advance until you have step one DOWN, and then go on to the next one ---

--- Many students, in an attempt to learn too fast, miss the basics and ruin their chances of progress ---

--- At most music shops, you can pick up DVDs that give instructions ---

--- The advantage to learning this way, is that you can keep re-playing the instruction until you have it down ---

--- Most of all, to be able to perform on an advanced level, you must have a true will to learn ---
--- If you really try and never give up, one day you will be jammin, without looking or thinking !!!

--- I went through this site that I found, and didn't see any obvious scams, but be careful anyway:

    --- Good luck !!!

I have a guitar that is acoustic and electric, but I don't use it that often.
