About 4 years ago or so I saw Staind with Cold and Godsmack. I wasn't into Godsmack that much, and I cannot stand Staind. Staind was alright, nothing special. And Godsmack actually put on a great show, regardless of my opinion of them.

Those three are at the Colorado State Fair this year I think...

That's why you are mentioning them huh?

I went and saw Evanescence, Cold, and Revis when they were here a few years ago. That show rocked!
The Browns are gone; I'm not a fan of the Impostors

The real Browns are in Baltimore, see?

I just got back from this show like 10 minutes ago and it kicked ass! oh did i forget to mention that seether's lead singer had to go into rehab so they weren't there. but soil and crossfade were the replacements and i like soil like a lot more then seether anyways. I didn't get floor tickets cause they were sold out that sucked. i was pretty pissed off.

Soil- These guys ****in rocked. the entire band was just into all over the stage just rockin out. unfortunately the crowd didn't get into it until aobut the 2nd or 3rd song. They closed with "Halo" which is a f'n kick ass song. But after not getting floor tickets it pissed me off even more because they only had a 6 song set! it pretty much made me madder. whoever decided this should be slapped. I also bought a t-shirt of soil and there album "true self". i've listened to the album a few times and it's pretty cool. i like to think of them as disturbed but with more solo's. I think they should let there guitarist do some more solo's and crap. he isn't dimebag or kerry king or anything but he is still pretty good.

crossfade-bleh! I like these guys album and stuff but whoever was doing the sound made these guys sound like absolute $#!^. they even had to stop about half-way into the set to fix the sound. the sound kind of came together on the last song but it was to late to salvage this wreck. if they would of had better sound they would have been a lot better. and the band wasn't really into it all that much. but i guess it kind of is when your singing and playing at the same time but still. but to be honest i would rather see a bad band rather then a mediocre one. because atleast with a bad band you get to make fun of them afterwards.

3 days grace- These guys f'n rocked! the place went crazy when they played "animal i have become" (great song). actually i was really surprised. The band didn't seem to into it but the crowd was pretty crazy. the closed with "i hate everything about you" it was cool. but my favorite song was "home" i love that song.

staind- I was kind of disappointed in aaron lewis. his vocals and everything were spot on but he just wasn't into it. didn't have very much energy it seemed like. but there guitarist was headbanging and jamming and rocking out all over the place. even on there slower stuff like "outside" you could of sworn he was playing cannibal corpse or something that was pretty cool. yeah since i didn't have the floor tickets i tried jumping the rail but some idiot security guard made me go back. i got over the rail and then he had his gay little flashlight and he's like "nneeer da deeeeer look at me i have a flashlight. i could never become a real cop so i had to settle as a security guard. naa naa neer look at my flashlight i'm gonna shine it right in your face cause i think i'm touch duh duh duuuhhhh" (followed by him hitting himself in the chest) (sorry it just pissed me off ) . staind was pretty cool. i should check out some of there newer stuff. the crowd was pretty insane people getting thrown around all over the place. And actually they did a pretty cool cover of pink floyds "comfortably numb". Aaron's vocals for that song fit it pretty well. I found out a little tidbit about "it's been a while" Lewis used to play it at bars and stuff before staind ever got a deal or anything and that was the song that people would use to actually go to the bathroom get a drink talk to people. well look where that song got them. but yeah there heavy stuff was kick f'n ass. they closed with mudshovel. i wanted to be in a pit so bad when that song came on. my favorite staind song by far. i should of bought torment because they had it there at the merch booth and i can't find that album anywhere.

so yeah anyways soil> staind > 3 days grace > crossfade.

all in all it was a pretty cool show. i would of paid to see any of them headline besides crossfade. and soil should of had a longer set and i should of got floor tickets but they were sold out.
