That sounds like a guitarist's wet dream right there. I'm currently debating whether to go on a vacation to a Broncos game this next year, using it towards college or buying a new guitar with the money I get when my mom sells the house. Haven't decided yet, but I think I'll probably go with a Fender Telecaster, Gibson SG or an ESP Stephen Carpenter series if I do go that route.

Nah, you should always keep your first guitar. Even if it is a Squier J Bass (which I'm planning to restring in fifths for fun)

I'm currently playing a Pedulla Rapture 5-string bass. I was very lucky, picked it up on Ebay for about £500 (~$920) when they cost a good $2,100 new.

i ended up ordering for myne to be custom made, a replica of a 55', with a bigsby whammy, should be ready in a couple weeks.

Even funnier is that i've been to that HQ in scottsdale, 2 summers ago, picked up my first guitar there, sweet mexican strat, its been very good to me, and i dont plan on ever selling it.

my amp is pretty pitiful though.

Edit: alright now i cant sleep, decided to play one of my favorite acoustic songs (dont wanna wake up the family with my strat) for my Broncomaniacs, hope you can tolerate my singing, i found it necessary so the song was a little less repetitive

Nick, it is a hollowbody, theres a couple different kinds i could get, like the 55' replica, or the 59' replica with a bigsby, etc..

muse, you aren't kidding on the price, some run up to 2,500. Although the pre-fender Gretch's are a little cheaper and still have the same flair to it.

    til monday i guess

At least you'll have something to look forward to, now.

I'm more of a super-strat man myself (JACKSONS ). Sonds like a sweet ass guitar, though. My uncle has a copy of one and I thought it was pretty damn nice.

Oooh, that's got the Bigsby whammy bar hasn't it (sorry, I love whammy bars )? That's pretty damn sweet they cost a bomb though I hear...

That said in terms of musical instruments and stuff you generally get what you pay for. You won't be disappointed, they're very versatile.

    Getting a Gretsch guitar today

for all you guitar afficianados that means the same guitars elvis, bono, and john frusciante have been seen using. Im quite suprised to find out i live 10 minutes away from the Fred Gretsch Enterprises in Pooler, GA. I'm really excited to get myne today, and i think i've decided on a White Falcon, but i might change my mind at the last second.

Anyone with any insight, please feel free to comment.
