    it is an excellant series that i would strongly recommend. it is set in the early 1800's and is about the napoleonic war between england and france.

    there is also a 2 part special called sharpe's challeng which is set in india - the most recent one.

    i heard it will be shown in america soon - the whole series. it is fantastic!!

    No, I haven't but it looks interesting.

    I will try to watch it if it comes out here.

      a few have been on already but there are still 5-6 and then the big one - sharpe's challenge.

      the one on in a few days is a very good one.

      if you like it you could always get the whole dvd set anyway - do you get bbc america? - i presume you do but i have never heard of it!
