  • Thoughts on Al Pacino....

Okay, so I know we have to wait a while for the second installment of the new Batman franchise. I also am well aware that they already have a few people picked out to play possible villains, such as Paul Bettany and Adrian Brody as The Joker.

They were also toying with the idea of bringing Two-Face back (i was reading some magazine in Hastings the other day). Two ideas they had were Liev Shreiber (sp?) and Dustin Hoffman. Now I think those would both be decent choices, I personally think they should go with Liev if they want to bring him in early on because at the point the movies are at now, Bruce is still fairly young, and I don't think Dent was that much older than he was. But either way I think Hoffman would be a good Two-Face.

Okay, now here's my point. I got to thinking the other day and I thought: "If they got Al Pacino to play Two-Face...that would be freaking awesome!" why? because Pacino automatically makes anything worth seeing, just to listen to his one liners...and he's Pacino and I think he could play somone like Two-Face perfectly. The worry might be that he might steal too much away from everything else during the movie, but I think he'd do an excellent job. He's done fine with non-starring roles in the past (Any Given Sunday, Two For the Money, etc).

What do you guys think? I mentioned this to other people I work with (and they know a thing or two about movies....since we all work at a theater) and they liked the idea.

    Hmm, I don't know.

Pacino is very good at what HE does, but he's somewhat of a one trick pony.

It seems like like he's being playing the same guy for the past 25 years.

    Kinda like Bruce Willis.
