i thought it was interesting how long it took becky and the other girl to wash off after the reward challenged. they walked all the way back along the beach and never bothered to step in and wash off the mud. then, when they got back, it started raining and they still didn't bother to clean up. being on survivor must really make a person comfortable being dirty.

one thing i wish yul had said during tribal council when everyone, including probst, was kind of ragging on him for being sneaky by bringing the hat back . . . johnathon would never have known who brought him the hat if probst hadn't told him. the jury doesn't get to watch show tape while waiting (like on big brother) do they? so how would johnathon ever have know how the hat got there?

    poverty was the obvious choice.

and so it begins. here's to adam being the first to leave. would that be the first time a group of 4 has actually made it to the final 4 before breaking up?

        And the winner is.....
        (SPOILERS BELOW)

        YUL!!

What an incredible game he played. It was fitting that it came down to him and Ozzy in the end. The superior strategist verses the superior physical performer. Both deserved to win.

Shoulda went to Ozzie, He made it to the end and if he didn't keep on winning Yul would have voted him out, so in a way he bested the mastermind by not giving him the chance.

That is almost word for word what I said to my wife. Ozzie deserved it more, however I'm not disappointed that Yul won.

This is one of the few Survivor seasons that I can remember where I didn't despise one or more of the options at final tribal council.

I really couldn't decide on who deserved it more. I would be happy if either Ozzy or Yul had won. I do think Yul totally deserved it. He did SO many things to influence the game. He was percieved to be very strong from the get go. That's how he got the hidden immunity idol in the first place, they sent him there to punish him but he turned a bad situation into advnatge like he did so many times in the game. Very smart player and I'm glad he won.

That said, I'm kinda sad that Ozzy didn't win. He seemed like he was alone out there and he also kinda seems like he's alone in real life. Personally, I would have really liked to see the loner come out on top. Me against the world type stories are inspiring to me.

This was a very good season of Survivor. I was begining to think the series was done, but this season has made up for the past couple stinkers. I would really like to see a couple of these players again. Maybe we can get Yul and Ozzy in a Survivor All Star down the road. I would like to see Ozzy go up against Tom from Palau. That would be a terrific matchup.

But for now, I guess we'll have to settle for Survivor:Fiji!

Haha I actually managed to remember to watch it on Sunday!

I'm glad Yul won, but to the people who think Ozzy should have won, he won a car and the secondary prize which isn't chump change.

I was glad to see the most deserving ones in first and second.

becky totally should have won! . . . i was going to try to type something convincing here but i can't think of anything. honestly, i'm leaning toward's yul as the more deserving, but i would have been happy either way. not sure that's ever been the case.

I think this past couple seasons Jury members are actually respecting good game play and not letting the under radar flyers win.

It seemed like in some of the past seasons, they wouldn't reward the better Survivor out of some kind of spite.

I'm glad the final two came down to the most deserving and they rewarded the most deserving.

In early seasons, Becky would have won just because the jury members were jealous buttplugs.
