Horde - I believe you sent me something about these guys before, am I correct? I think there pretty good. Not something I would go buy it I had the chance, but good nonetheless.

Hate Eternal - I have a cd of theres but could never get into them. Not my thing.

Yeah. I sent something from Horde. I have been a Mortification fan since "Scrolls of the Megilloth" came out years ago and loved the drums. When Horde's CD was coming out in 1994, the rumor was that it was a Mortification side-project.
Well...... not exactly. Drummer Jayson Sherlock had already left Mortification.

Horde = Sherlock. He did everything on the album and I love it.

I didn't find the CD until years later. I remembered Horde and found some websites with some song clips. It wasn't easy, but I found the CD.

Sherlock then joined Paramaecium (another band I'm into) and was on their frst 2 albums. I'm not sure what he's doing these days. The 2nd Paramaecium album came out in 1996. They are still going strong, but Jayson...........??????

As for Hate Eternal, I like Erik Rutan a lot. He is a great guitarist and I'm glad to see him touring with Morbid Angel once more. The drummer from the videos, Derek Roddy (who has unfortunately left the band) is awesome. He was previously with Aurora Borealis, Malevolent Creation and Nile, among others.

Check out these clips of Roddy with Hate Eternal in the studio:

Here's one more. It's labeled "Drum Solo", but seems like he's warming up to me. When Mikai (Anwyl....and formerly with me in Nephilim/Enkil/Epitaph) warmed up it was like that...... not necessarily playing a song through, but blast beats to fast double bass to.......

A kickass drummer in a kickass band. Nile is excellent, Black Seeds if Vengeance is one of my favorite songs. Just a killer band.

Another one of their drummers, Tony Laureano, was also in Angelcorpse....... another awesome band (R.I.P.). Tony was in Angelcorpse from 1988 to 2000 and Nile from 2002-2004.

Great news (for me, anyways, LOL) :
                From Paramaecium's website:

"Exciting news: We can now reveal that in April 2006, Jayson Sherlock returned to Paramaecium after a 10 year break. As we prepare for the next album and possible shows, Paramaecium now consists of the original Exhumed lineup:"

                Welcome back, Jayson!!!

R.I.P., Krzysztof "Docent" Raczkowski. The former Vader drummer died a few months after his departure from the band in April 2005.

I didn't follow Vader very closely after their 1st album, but always liked them. My band mates and I anxiously awaited their debut in the early 90's. They were SUPPOSED to be the biggest thing to hit the underground in years. It didn't work out that way, but they remain a solid band.

I believe Krzysztof is in all 4 videos. There are some pretty good closeups in the 1st video....definitely him.
