Pretty good list there, but where it gets real interesting is when you start pairing them up, ie Chevy Chase & Rodney Dangerfield or Richard Prior & Gene Wilder.

Where's Belushi? Should be a top ten, I didn't see him on the list at all. I mean John, not his little brother. No way is the Hey Vern guy, funnier than Chris Farley. You forgot plenty The other 3 characters from Seinfeld are much funnier than 20% of your list. Jackie Gleason, just for his work on Smokey and the Bandit should be considered. I mean Carrottop, give me a freaking break.

Uhh, Margaret Cho is an excellent entertainer, and Chris Tucker is funnier than any other comic you might come up with. I bet you're a George Lopez or Calvin Coolidge fan! Or better yet, that brainy humor of Larry the Cable Guy!

you lost all credibility by including gallager on that list. seriously, i can put up with your love for the chefs, but calling gallager a comedian is unforgivable. the noise that comes out of that man is like fingernails on a chalk board. he's akin to a black hole of unfunniness sucking the very life out of anything unlucky enough to come within earshot.
