1998?
And they were better than me then.
And for those of you who think I am full of crap, I was working overnight radio n Wilkes-Barre, PA, their hometown, at the time. I played for beer.
I have seen them four or five times, but none since they went national and I moved away from Wilkes-Barre.
Of course, that lineup was different than the one now, Burnley was there, as was original drummer Hummel (I think he is older than me, actually), but the other two guys were not the guys in the band now.
Good times.

L.A. Guns - My favorite band since around 1988. Sleazy hard rock. And they are still doing it. (actually two versions are doing it).

Led Zepplin by far. It used to be Metallica, but I can't get with their new stuff. I also like Pink Floyd, Queen, Stones, Skynard, Smashing Pumpkins, and Nirvana.

I can't list one single band, since I listen to every genre.
My top 3 are:
1) The Bee Gees. Yeah I said it. So what they sound like they were getting touched in their special area. They still made some monstrous hits.
2) De La Soulthe only hip hop group IMO that has made consitent great albums in a 10+ year period. Their debut album, "Three feet High and Rising" is my favorite album of all-time in any genre period.
3) Camp Lo. Why nobody ever campaigned these guys to the mainstream is beyond me.
And now the rest of the list:
The Doobie Brothers
Temptations
4 Tops
The Supremes
The Commodores
The Jackson 5
Toto
Swan Silvertones (ONLY Gospel group I'll listen to. Thank you Dad!)
INXS
Lacuna Coil
Guns N Roses
The Roots
Soul 2 Soul
NWA
200+ Salsa, Merengue & Flamenco bands that I don't know by name
and lastly,
Bananarama (if this leaks past this site...)
