  • The best driving song...

What is the best driving song that you can think of???

The kind of song that, when it comes onto the radio, your heart-rate elevates and knuckles clutch the steering wheel...and the little tiny hairs on the back of your neck stand on end while your right foot involuntarily depresses downward to satisfy this urge...the need...for speed!!!

Although "Machinehead" by Bush is a semi-comparable alternate and deserves an honorable mention...

I say "Crazy Train" by Ozzy Osbourne with Randy Rhodes on the lead guitar...

I become a stunt driver when that one comes onto the raidio...

and God help ya if I'm coming after you on the highway...
I've walked these streets, a loaded six-string on my back, I play for keeps 'cause I might not make it back, I've been everywhere still I'm standin' tall, I've seen a million faces and I've rocked them all!!:salute!:

I don't have any now, but after we won our first SuperBowl, many of the radio stations in Denver were playing - "We Are The Champions" - I really cranked up the volume when that came on.

A TV show called Top Gear did this as a viewer survey a couple of years ago, if I remember rightly the results were:

                      3) Bat Out Of Hell ~ Meatloaf

                      2) Don't Stop Me Now ~ Queen

                      1) Radar Love ~ Golden Earing

Personally, the one song that guarantees a weight increase in the foot and an involuntary volume increase is Pinball Wizard by The Who
The Whiskyteers ~ One for all, and all for MORE!!!!

I'm a huge metalhead, but when I'm driving I prefer rap. I don't know why, but I just enjoy rap more while I'm on the road.
