I thought this would be a fun one to go along with the 'favorite' thread.

So what actors/actresses do you dislike and try to avoid in movies??

I really hated Gilbert Godfrey until I saw him on The Aristocrats- Now I can stand him, but his movies pretty much suck. As do Pauly Shore's. But those are too obvious.

Some more unsuspecting candidates:


Actors: Sean Penn & Nicolas Cage are both very hit and miss- sometimes their acting is downright laughable it's so terrible, other times it's almost oscar worthy--I guess I don't despise them, but I definitely question their acting talents.

Actress: Whoopi Goldberg. Hated sister act, hate her stand up-- Pretty much can't stand to hear her talk.

Who sucks at acting in your opinion?

Part of the reason I've been watching so many old movies (that, plus the acting is much, much better).

I'll take Newman, McQueen, Bronson, Wayne, Stewart...... over anyone these days.

Yeah, yeah, yeah.... Paul Newman did a voice in "Cars", but he's pretty much retired.

Nothing. It's a trait I admire in Women ...... not so much in Actors, though :nono: .

Nicholas Cage. Hated him in the Rock. Hated him in Gone in 60 seconds. Was okay in National Treasure.

He doesn't do a quiet, shy guy very well. I dunno, it seems to me he is only good in one kind of role.
