I used to listen to them a bit about 8 years ago, saw them in concert a couple times. Not my thing anymore.

BBF, I'll check out Trivium when I get some time. I like everything you've recommended to me so far, so it's not a reach that I'll like them, too.

Yeah, definitely check Trivium out... Their newest album their best IMO, so I would check that out before their older stuff...

And with Sevendust it's weird, they're a great live band, I've seen them a few times and they always torn it up- but for some reason I just never get around to listening to them all that much...

I can remember the show in Colorado Springs when played "Angel's Son," the tribute to Snot's late lead singer Lynn Strait. Lujan had tears running down his face as they played it. That was one of those epic moments at a live show you don't forget- you could tell he was really feelin it.

Sevendust is cool. lajon is one of my favorite vocalists.

If you like master of puppets era metallica get "the crusade". not my favorite trivium album but still cool.

I'd recommend ascendancy. It's the closest thing to being a metal masterpiece without being a masterpiece IMO.

I started praying every day at my home, and even though I wasn't going to church all the time, I started believing more, and I think that's what stopped me from going down the wrong road. qouted by Darrent Williams

                  Definitely agreed.

There is not a weak song on that whole CD.

Shame they couldn't just expand upon that.
