Anthems and Protests ---
While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.
Thank you for understanding.

to think of the millions of dollars these companys spent. the commercials were so lame this year. i hate commercials with a passion but its always the superbowl when i actually look forward to seeing one. they were very dull, even the guy that won the nfl commercial...i heard others ideas for this and they sounded better, i cant believe they picked his.
the stupid heart commercial was the one they should never play again.
Two things bugged me about the commercials this yr
1) Commercial breaks consisted of three commercials: 2 general product commercials and 1 CBS programming commercial. I don't give a s*** CBS, I'm not gonna watch 2 and a half men or survivor, no matter how much you try to brainwash me.
2) What happened to the alleged commercial where the guy proposes to his girlfriend. This story was all over the wires for weeks, everyone was lookin forward to it and it never happened. What a letdown.
Zero Wing, the greatest Japanese to English translation ever...

Was that the Doritos one with the guy driving the car who was distracted by the cute girl? That might've been the only one that actually got a chuckle out of me.

They're your teammates, now.
Best of luck, TT!
...Always a class act - in any uniform.
sbutk: i can see why Denver is taking TO's right now [trailing by 7, with 30 seconds left in the half]. but why Oakland???
Captain Lori: You are trying to figure out the Raiders. Try figuring out women instead; it's probably much easier.
For Super Bowl commercials that are usually one of the highlights of the evening, tonight's were collectively a snoozer.
I'll have to watch em back tomorrow, though, to see whether I missed anything (over the roar of the party).
Why would anyone want to watch commercials!? Isn't that what we all hate all season? I watched the first 3, saw how lame they were and then skipped through the rest of them with my nifty tivo!!
They kept hyping the NFL Fan commercial being shown during the 2 minute warning, but when it arrived, they did nothing to say which one was it.....and the one's that they showed, were ones that I had seen previously durong the game........I was dissapointed.
A few of them were good though. But that's how it's been for years now.
The Fan's Super Bowl ad was the one right after the 2 min warning in the 2nd half. It was the one of all the fans putting away their gear after the season was over i believe. You know, the raider fans with their crazy outfits high five each other, the redskins man is slumped in his chair, the Bears fan is taking his fan chair to the garage, the colts fan washes his horse that was spraypainted with the colts logo on it....
Something about the season being officially over now and everyone looking forward to next season. It was a bum commericial. There were a lot better ideas, some funny and some creative. I cant believe they chose that one. I guess it fit alongside all the other ones.
Overall...yawn...but I did enjoy the Garmin commercial with 'Mapasaurus' or whatever. That one was great. The Budweiser commercials were on the only other bright spot.
What astounded me was how many advertisers simply took old recycled ads they've been running for months and just ran them.
What...the...HECK? You pay multiple MILLIONS of dollars for the ELITE PREMIUM advertising spot in any/all media...and you can't freaking bother to produce a new commercial?
That truely boggles my mind.
(And the couple picking up the guy with the axe was hilarious. So was Oprah and Dave acting like a couple watching the game, if you know thier history)

the career builder ones were funny, for the most part the others were just ok.
as for the go daddy one, that's never been worth watching, the chick's already done nude work so there's nothing to even be left to the imagination with her. if anything it's annoying.
