They are like a good bedtime story. Timeless mythology+cool technology=something I can watch almost anytime. The Lord of the Rings can't hold my attention anymore, but if Star Wars is on, man I just sit there and watch it until the credits. Plus, it was one of the first movies I remember seeing in 1983 (ROTJ). Plus, I want a lightsaber so I can write my name in the side of buildings! BRRRAWWWZZZZZZOOOO!!!

I just showed a friend of mine Star Wars: A New Hope for the first time.

He's from Nigeria so he never seen it before.

              He was amazed.

I did that with my cousins. They loved it.

This May marks the 30th Anniversary of Star Wars.

It marks the beggining of something that changed the world forever. It marks the beggining of a great tale between good and bad. It marks the beggining of a tale of love and hate, it shows that love triumpths over the evil and darkness of hate and aggression. I could go on and on describing what it means but I am sure you have things to say aswell. Its amazing how Star Wars has such a deep and thoughtful message and its a great fun movie to watch at the same time.

                    Thank you George Lucas

Let me just add that George Lucas will have a interview at this place that is supposed to be for TV's best people. It is interesting because its for TV not for movie's which means he must be going to promote the Cartoon series and Live action series. The interview will be sometime in the next couple of months.

Then I'll fire away. What I loved about Star Wars was its grasp...the Universe it was set in was just so...damn...big. And it seemed to so real and natural. Not to mention the lightsaber is the COOLEST damn weapon ever invented.

This is what Yoda will look like in the Cartoon Series.
