  • 30th Anniversary of Star Wars!

YES ITS ANOTHER STAR WARS THREAD! But its special this time.

This May marks the 30th Anniversary of Star Wars.

It marks the beggining of something that changed the world forever. It marks the beggining of a great tale between good and bad. It marks the beggining of a tale of love and hate, it shows that love triumpths over the evil and darkness of hate and aggression. I could go on and on describing what it means but I am sure you have things to say aswell. Its amazing how Star Wars has such a deep and thoughtful message and its a great fun movie to watch at the same time.

    Thank you George Lucas

I remember seeing Episode 1 at 6 years old. When I saw Darth Maul I shouted out " I love that guy". I used to love watching him on the trailers. When I was 4 years old I used to act out the destruction of the Death Stars with a little X-Wing and TIE Fighter I got in the cereal box. I used a old coffee maker as the Death Star.

Wee bit of a gap between seeing Ep IV at the cinema(the first time round) and Ep 1!!!

I remember seeing Ep 1 and there being a group of 13 year old boys sitting in front of me(from a boarding school). I cheered when you see R2D2 time, and they looked at me like I was weird! Heck they weren't even born when Return came out!

Oh good LORD! I was 7 when Ep IV came out in the cinemas. Didn't miss an opening and got the special ed's in the theatres. Oh what a treat those were!

Now I'm wondering what the TV series will be like.

                        No.

But Celebration Europe is about 15 minutes away from me.

Shame I still won't be able to go.
