wow. maybe your guys' high schools just had a crappy passing game/plan/structure.

my high school passed almost as much as they ran. we always had excellent QBs except when the one in my class took over. he sucked hardcore.

but anyway. friday night lights is my alma mater to a "T". my little town was religious about football and if you didn't play football, you were no one.


course, (and i dunno if they still do) but for a long time my high school had the winningest record in the entire state.

but back to the passing thing. what makes you guys think most high schools run more than pass? i just remember our guys were always passing. of course there were tons of running plays because we also had stellar backs. but i'm just saying, that it probably depends on the high school, and the division or the level of play.

i'm willing to bet Texas football is a lot more "professional" than most of our high schools were.

i also remember that when Varsity Blues came out, everyone at my school was like: "oh my God, that's our town..." hahaha.

They pass inifnity times more than real HS teams pass. Like all HS football movies/shows. HS football is won on the ground.

very true my high school passed about 6 times in the regular season at the most i think it was less than that

I've watched a couple of episodes Friday Night Lights then it started turning into a very boring drama about the cheerleader having an affair with a drunk and this got very boring after a while so I stopped watching it.

will there be another season is the big question i think there should be but NBC doesnt advertise rly any shows all that well Heroes isnt rly advertised all that much it just gets a lot of publicity from high up critics which almost is advertising

They ordered 6 more scripts for next season, but it hasn't officially been renewed.

They won State!...they got to Play in the Cowboys stadium and everything!

Coach Taylor exepted the Job as the Coach of the University and the news came out right before the game by the press.

Coach Taylors wife found out she is pregnant and they are having a baby!..

Umm... Lyla gave up cheerleading and her and tyra are friends now.. (weird huh)

I think cioach taylor may end up staying anyway since his family wait to stay in Dillion..but I think Jason might also be the coach of the team..They kid of left it wide open..

for those who have never seen the show, or have only seen one episode, do NOT judge the show.

this show has BY FAR the best character development of any show on TV right now. its about 15% actual football, the rest is about the lives of the players and coaches (and a few others). they were saying on the radio this is the most underrated show on TV right now, and i couldnt agree more, nothing on TV tops this show (not even lost at this point..its too far out there anymore)
