    Amazing! Absolutely amazing.

I hope she kissed the ground, because she just witnessed a miracle!
"War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things. The decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling which thinks that nothing is worth war is much worse. The person who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing which is more important than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature and has no chance of being free unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself.

two women and another man inside the vehicle had just left the Scoops bar near UCF and it appears the woman driver did not realize the semi was in her path until it was too late
Officers on the scene said alcohol may have been a factor in the crash.
I'd definitely go with alcohol was a factor! Leaving a bar and not wearing seatbelts? How do you miss seeing a semi doing a U-turn? Hello? It's a fricking huge truck! And it's white, and those semis are lit up like Xmas trees. YOu'd have to be blind to not notice it!

its funny, i have seen stories of people i know who get in accidents and arent wearing seatbelts, and doctors or someone like that tell them they would of had worst injury or death if they had a seat belt on.

I still miss the blue background.

"You can look at this damage and see the right passenger has his seatbelt on, there is an air bag involved, and he has minor injuries," Bailey said. "The driver and the backseat did not have their seat belts on and they are in critical condition. So, you have three people coming out of the same car and the one person who had his seat belt on is going to walk away with abrasions."
            WHY IS BAILEY OUT THERE!

              Or even a lesson!

Maruske, I was in a car ccident years ago and even though i hit the dashboard(word of advice don't turn towards the door when flinching cos sometimes your shoulder slips out of the seatbelt), my doc said if I hadn't been wearing the belt at all I'd probably have smashed my skull so badly as to kill me(as it was I had a fractured cheekbone) instantly.

There are instances when wearing a seat belt does actually benefit you, but those instances are very few and far between. Most of the time if you are not wearing a seat belt you will have much worse injuries than you would have had you been wearing the seat belt.

this has been posted before, sorry.

                  J. K. I am not trying to jack your thread but these fit it to a tee.....

                  the story behind these....

I met a truck driver Ron Hall, the man behind the wheel of this rig during a fifty
car pile up on I 90 in Erie, PA. He opened his door when his truck came to a
stop looked down and knew he was dangling 200 feet above the Winter Green Gorge.

He thought he was going to die. When he looked back across the bridge a man in a Carhart Sweatshirt was walking the 8 inch wide guide wall in an attempt to save the trucker before his rig would fall. The man climbed on the wreckage broke out the windshield and pulled him out of the cab and walked him back along the ledge to safety.

When this driver (Ron Hall) approached meI said, "Were you one of the drivers in this wreck?" He said "No, I am the Powerball winner who was behind the wheel of the truck dangling over the gorge." "Last night one person won 250 million in a lottery. Today I tell you I am luckier than that person because some man put his own life in serious jeopardy just to save mine." "When we made it to safety I was in tears and I turned to thank him and he walked away into a snow white-out and I never even got to get his name."

In the eyes and heart of Ron Hall he met a hero or an angel. Whatever the case in a world of so much bad there is some good if one man is willing to put the life of someone he did not even know above his own!

I have had the good fortune to produce photos and videos for rockstars like Pat Monahan, NFL Hall of Famer Dan Marino, All Pro Quarterback Marc Bulger and so many others. But when the time comes to sit down and write that book you can bet the unknown hero and the grateful trucker are sure to be featured in a prominent fashion. I hope you all can see a few of my photos and understand why this act of bravery has me in tears more than 24 hours since Ron Hall walked up to me on that bridge.

I wish you all a great day and no matter what life throws at you take time to value what little time we truly get to be alive! Thanks RON HALL for sharing your story with me. to the hero that saved him...we may never know your name but I would guess that when your day finally comes there will be a place on the other side of the pearly gates that already has been reserved for you.
