Anthems and Protests ---
While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.
Thank you for understanding.

rakim allah, but your maybe too young to listen to him though...
Nah... I listen to Rakim... he is a legend there is no doubt about that, but I think lyrically Eminem is better than him. Unfortunately I also manage to forget about him a lot when I compile lists of who I think the best rappers are.

Nice... Rakim is an honest guy, which makes him thta much better. I like it, but the interviewer knows nothing... some of the verses Em has done that have more of a gangsta tone to them are a few of the best verses he has ever done.
I like Eminem too. I don't care for rap but his songs have a more pop touch to them that makes them more appealing than the same ol' beat than most rap songs that I have heard.
And that response may speak for Ravage in a way. The music that rap songs use is redundant and repetative. Over and over beat, guitar or keyboard rip. You won't hear a guitar or drum solo in a rap song. They are mainly songs that appear to share youth experiences of nowadays.

The pop songs have the same generic beats for the most part. Real rap, Nas, Pac back in the day, Em, Obie Trice, Immortal Technique, etc. use their own beats that fit the mood of the song. They talk about real life stuff, most of them talk a lot about the ghetto and how to fix themselves and all that, and depending on the way they want to have the song sound is how they will make the beat. The songs you hear on the radio are crap, and the beats are made only to be good for dancing in clubs, which is why they all sound redundant and repetetive.
JC- I get it now...lol
