  • Anyone here listen to...

Hawaiian music? Music of Hawaii? But not the ones that are in Hawaiian.
    Stuff like Jawaiian, and Reggae.
Artists like the Opihi Pickers, Pepper, Ekolu, Three Plus, etc.
And songs like Hot Like Fire, Beautiful Ladies, Stone Love, I Love You Girl, Honey Baby.

I was wondering if anyone listens to this genre of music? It's pretty cool. The beat is awesome and theres lots of different background music and cool vocals which can be relaxing.

Go check out some songs on iTunes and if you like it, buy it (or get it illegally from somewhere else )

    Some of my favorites are

    Last Night by Hookoa
    Honey Baby by Three Plus
    Stormtrooper by Pepper
How Can I Get Over by Pure Heart (not on iTunes, I can email or send to you guys over AIM)

Awesome music, a change from the normal and its from Hawaii!

I should check out those bands. On a sad, maybe related note, Don Ho died today. The only Hawaiin music I ever heard was a band called Come Ohn Iwanna Layu. That was the weirdest sentence I ever typed.
