They drew from their influences w/o ripping them off,
just like Lamb of God has done. With ''The Crusade"
I think the thought ripping off Metallica would make them
    seem more like Thrash Metal.

Another thing - I think it's all well and good that Matt
decided he wanted to sing more, but that doesn't mean
he had to completely emulate James Hetfield. Hetfield
was cool because he was Hetfield. Matt was cool because
he was Matt. Matt isn't cool when he's Hetfield (or poorly tries to be).

I don't think they had to completely change their music
just because of a different style of singing either.
That's a perfect way to put it. I think Ember to Inferno and Ascendency were great albums and their music was, indeed, almost perfected. It's sad to see great bands sell out. Your demo was pretty good too man. When you get stuff going a little more, make a page in Myspace music to get some more exposure.

Mastodon, by the way, kicks arse. Listening to them right now.
Mastodon played here in Denver last night. I think my step-bro went to the show, I went to my brother in-law's hockey game instead.

I wouldn't expect you to know since your avatar is NOFX...
So what if the guy has NOFX in his avatar(my favorite punk band by far)?

That doesn't mean his opinion isn't as valid as the next music fan.

It's funny how people beat each other up for their taste in music.

Tpryce knows his music. He is extremely knowledgeable for a person of his age. I respect his opinions on music.

To hell with the Faders. As far as the name goes, its just what I came up with, its my xbox live name as well. I love the Broncos and I love good music. I think most of us can agree on that.
