Yup! I also hope they can handle three villains (Goblin 2, Venom, Sandman) without making any of them feeling "tacked on". I'm not too worried about the movie though, should be fun! All these comic book adaptations over the last few years have been pretty good (except xmen3 and fantastic 4).
