  • I saw it yesterday.

I have to say I enjoyed the movie thoroughly. I only had problems with the following:

The whole dancing in the street and the jazz scene. Seriously, what the hell.
Topher Grace as Eddie Brock...Jr. Horrible choice.
Stop crying already you're frickin' Spiderman.

With those the movie probably gets a 6 or a 7 becuase those were so bad. But Without I'd give it in an 8.

I thought Topher did a great job!

But since That 70's Show is my favorite show ever and he's one of my favorite actors...maybe I'm being bias.

      Why didn't you like him?

Personally, I did'nt like the choice of him. He didn't fit the description of Eddie Brock, who was a convict who was a lot bigger built. This one is more of a arrogant, pompous, whiny female dog. To be quite blunt. It's probably more to blame of the scripter and stuff. I don't have a problem with his personal perfromacne, just a problem with the choice of him as the guy.

Brock is in the bottom left of the comic strip.

          • I liked the movie. Well, make that the first 2/3 of it. I knew from the beginning that the problem with this would be too many villains. They didn't have time to do anything of significance with Eddie Brock. I know this was supposed to be able to just finish off the series if need be, but I would have liked it if they focused more on Harry, Sandman and the dark suit and then leave Venom for the next movie. Perhaps give Topher Grace the suit at the very end and then focus more on his character in the sequel. For people who didn't watch the cartoons or read the comics, Venom probably seemed very random and unneccessary here.

I must say though, Bruce Campbell's role in this one was the best of the 3 chars he had in the series. :thumb:

            • Just watched Spider-Man 3 again today.

I though it was better second time round.

My main problems are these though.

              1. Venom's voice. It sounds barely different to how Tophers voice usually sounds and that is WRONG! Venom should sound unearthly.

              2. The final fight, Venom dissapears for 2 minutes while Harry and Spider-Man fight the Sandman. Where the hell did he go?

I saw it on opening night and I saw it today and I thought it was a brilliant movie.
There was alot of emotion in it and it had a very good moral to the story ( as I have said before).

              9.5/10

Who did he play in the first movie? I always see him in the 2nd one as the usher at the theater and in this one he was the French guy. But I can never find him in the first

He also is the narrator for the Spider-Man 3 game.
