Both. They're not mutally exclusive. There's some awesome songs that use both. But I put electric because it's more versatile.

    RIP D-Will and Nash

      Electric, fo' sho.

On a side note, I'll have my first demo out pretty soon...

Unfortunately, I don't have any shred in it, because my guitar teacher wrote all the drum parts for me beforehand, so I just wrote around it. Most everyone I've played it for has really liked the riffs on it...

      Sorry about the slight-hijacking.

      Go Huskers.

No prob! Now I'm gonna hijack you! Watch out for my new album "MasterShake Makes Love to you with Music Volume I" when it drops June 7th! Seriously though, I really like electric better, but I love an acoustic version of a song that features an electric guitar. I wish I could play in real life like I do on Guitar Hero!

Me and my band will hopefully have some sort of demo thingy out before the end of the year. it will probably be mostly covers maybe some original but i'll post it after it gets done.

              kickass...

Since mine will be out in about 2/3 weeks, I'll start a thread about it, and other people can put theirs up later.

I just finished writing the song today. Very influenced by Lamb of God/Threat Signal.

Just a little taste of my primary/main band of the covers we'll be doing (we don't have a band name yet. It'll be mostly metal covers while my other side project will be a lot more diverse):

pull the plug-death (the one we'll be doing at the school talent show, heh)

                Love?-Strapping young lad

                Entrails of you-Suffocation

                Angel of death-slayer

Hammer smashed face-Cannibal Corpse (if i can get the bass down on that song. it's f'n hard. We'll also probably doing some other CC maybe "f'd with a knife")

probably a soon to be named pantera song

I'm gonna see if the guys would be interested in doing a mudvayne song

                Caught in a mosh-anthrax

probably some more as we think of them.

We definitely will. We've been excited for this since we started talking about it.

Bringin some real metal into our school just sounds kick ass. Not to mention it will be like a big ST FU to all the Churchy choir kids singing there crappy songs.

I'll try to do my best chuck schuldiner impression and we'll definitely be dedicating this to chuck

The only thing that i can see us stopping us is we're having some trouble finding a rhythm guitarist.
