I loved Elfen Lied and it's story. It had a lot of unneeded nudity and sexual references but the story made me feel for the characters and what they went through.

Right now I'm watching High School of the Dead which is okay but that too has a lot of unneeded nudity and sexual stuff too.

I thought the same thing too. Then boredom and Netflix got the best of me. Now I watch a little bit as long as it can keep my interest up.

I've seen a bit of Cowboy Bebop and dig it. So I don't entirely hate the genre haha.

I can't stand Cowboy Bebop for some reason. I remember I used to watch it about 10 years ago on AS, and I didn't really like it back then, and I don't like it now.

I haven't really sought out any new animes as of yet. The last one I watched was G Gundam, which was pretty cool. I usually stick to what I know when it comes to anime. Trigun, Case Closed, DBZ, Yu Yu Hakusho, Gundam, Full Metal Panic, and there are a few animes I remember watching, but I long forgot the name of them.

Bleach is another one I can't stand, but that's mostly due to the fact that it rips off Yu Yu Hakusho in almost every common way.

              I'd call myself a fan.

I'm not like a crazy, going to comicon dressed up or doing some cosplay stuff but I'd call myself a fan.

One reason I really like it is because I want to be in the business of voice acting. So part is enjoyment and part is research. Haha.

Shows i've dug over the years are most that have been mentioned here. Bleach. Full Metal Alchemist. Liked Yu Yu Hakusho when it was on.

Also am a big fan of Code Geass and Death Note. Another one that I dug that no one has mentioned was Rurouni Kenshin. Thought that was well done.

One of my favorite movies is an anime. Spirited Away is probably the best animated movie i've seen and probably really close to cracking my top 10 favorite movies of all time. Most, if not all, of Hayao Miyazaki's movies are amazing.

Finished watching the Elfen Lied series last night and I really liked it. I was fine with the graphic violence considering the nature of the weapons wielded by these emotionally traumatized girls. The nudity was a little overdone at times, but not a deal breaker. It was actually expected since the opening (and closing) credit sequences feature a naked girl. Very well done and I recommend it to anyone that enjoys anime (and that can stomach A LOT of blood).
