    Elway Returns in Fast Cars & Superstars!

    For any of you interested, you can catch John in Fast Cars & Superstars, airing this Thursday @ 8 pm (EST) on ABC. Lasts 3 weeks, I think.

    Sounds like it could very well turn out to be cheesy, but as long as J.E. is involved... I'm there.

      Cool!

      Not only do they have John Elway ...

      They got William Shatner, and Captain Kirk can't lose.

      They got John Salley from my Pistons Team (the REAL Bad Boys, not the group that came later).

      They got Bill Cowher.

      Not too much into Sareena Williams; would've been nice if it was Sharapova or Kournikova instead, hehehe.

      Gabrielle Reece is okay, but better if they got Jessica Biel or Rosario Dawson.

          I appreciated Elway as a terrific QB and was always happy to have him on the team, but I'm not going to watch that show. As much as I like Elway, his name isn't enough to entice me into watching a show that doesn't interest me.

                  UPDATE: (For those of you who actually came here for the thread topic and haven't hijacked this thread ...which rules out just about everyone)


                  In the time trials, John finished 2nd in his group of 3 - ahead of tennis star Serena Williams, and behind surfer Laird Hamilton - and thus will advance to the next round.

                  3 more groups of three (and weeks) to go in the time trial phase.

                  Alas, I presume it'll be at least that long til the spotlight is back on our hero.


                  Carry on, doing... whatever it is you were doing.

                      Where are you guys seeing this? According to Channel 7 in Denver, it will not be aired until 12:05 AM, tomorrow morning.

                          It is wierd that this was posted yesterday because I just saw it today. Was it aired yesterday and reaired today?

                          That racing looks like fun. I have always wanted to do that for at least a couple of laps or so.

                            On the East coast, at least, it aired on ABC (Ch. 7) Thursday at 8 pm (EST). I can only assume it'll be in the same time slot for the duration of its run.

                              I like the show as I am a racer by nature. I would love to have the chance to race Nascar. I watched Tony Hawk kick butt on the last episode. John Better up his game if he want's to win. Tony looks like the one to beat right now.


                              But I'm a skater also so I'm a bit biased toward Hawk, though I am of course rooting for Elway.
