I'm freakin excited for this movie, Rob Zombie knows his stuff so i'm sure it'll be a great remake unlike some other terrible ones that have been released *cough* texas chainsaw massacre *cough*

Halloween has always been one of my favorite movies of all time

Ummmmm................. OK. I love Rob Zombie's movies.

I'm so fricking tired of remakes, though. I suppose I'll eventually watch the new version of The Hitcher (even though a remake of the classic was unnecessary), and I'll give Zombie a pass and watch his Halloween, but ENOUGH ALREADY!!!

The remake of the Texas Chainsaw Massacre impressed no one.

The remake of The Omen infuriated me. What was the point?? The sequel was inferior in every way. I'd better not get started on the "logic" behind having Liev Schreiber and Julia Stiles try to fill the shoes of Gregory Peck and Lee Remick .

Unfortunately, it's hard to forget the scene-for-scene remake of Psycho.

I could go on and on, but remakes should be limited to movies like The Wicker Man and The Hills Have Eyes...... movies that couldn't be considered classics to begin with.

Even after giving Zombie a pass, as in the case of The Omen, I'd rather see a sequel than a remake.

Well, I only watch the remakes if i feel that it's absolutely necessary, TXCM is one of my favorite movies ever so i had to watch the remake which sucked.

But I didn't see The Omen and psycho.

But I have to see Halloween, because it's the greatest horror film ever.

I also love zombie's movies, House of a 1000 corpses was all right, and i really liked the devil's rejects.

        :offtopic:
