AVP 2: Aliens vs Predator

I just want to let everyone know who is a fan of the Alien Series or Predator Series that there is another Alien vs Predator movie coming out.

I am a fan of both the Aliens and Predator movies.

However, AVP sucked ass, and I imagine AVP 2, being a sequel, will suck even more ass.

I can not believe they screwed the first one up so much. How hard is it. The script wrote itself. ALIENS VS PREDATORS. No Mayan ruins under the ice, no humans (unless they are Space Marines), just ALIENS VS PREDATORS. It could have been two hours of an Alien and Predator taking turns slapping one another and it would have been better. Count me out unless Ridley Scott directs.

From what I have read, avp 2 will most likely be better than avp. I know avp 2 isn't being directed by Pual W. S. Anderson.

Speaking of the AVP comics - my personal favorite of all of them is AVP: Duel was a very sweet series. I have the entire thing - still bring it out from time to time to read. I bought a couple of the short novels based around that one chick that became a Predator - never read though.. Just never had the time.....

That series has a graphic novel hardcover that is really hard to come by. Great book, though!

I must be easily pleased, then.

I thought it was an entertaining movie

I'm pretty sure the next one will be strange
if there really is a hybrid between Aliens
and Predators (like the very end of AVP
suggests).
