Agree with everything except Die Hard 2. Nothing stands up to the original Die Hard! And my pick for better sequel? Breakin 2: Electric Boogaloo. Breakin 1 was sooo boring!

X2 was slightly better than X-Men, but both were better than X3.

I prefered the 2nd Resident Evil more than the first(yeap I like them lots!).

And I prefered the 2nd Tomb Raider film too.

Last Crusade is by far my favorite of those movies.

I will also say that the newer Harry Potter movies are better than the first 2.

they were such bad actors.

Pirates 2 for sure.

Really? The first Pirates movie was my favorite of the series by far. Nothing beats Jack Sparrow's first apperance in that movie.

Someone else (Nick, I think) said Bourne Supremacy and I have to agree with that. The first one was good, but the second one blew it out of the water.

I have to agree with you on the second Die Hard. It always feels like the stepbrother to the rest of the series. I still like it, but it's just not in the same league.

I also think the Bourne movies are a push. The story in the second one is fantastic, but the camera is all over the place during every action scene, and I just get frustrated every time I try to watch it. I wish there was an alternate version DVD where I could actually see someone get punched.

I'll probably see it in the theatre anyway. The way I see it, there are two things going for it:

1) The first two were good, so the third definately deserves a look.

2) They are all based on a series of very popular books, although I heard that the story has strayed from the original writings.

But either way, I enjoyed the first two so I will see this one.

But either way, I enjoyed the first two so I will see this one.

I read the first two of the books, and the movies GREATLY stray away from the plot of the books. For example, Maria is from Germany in the movies, but in the books, she's from Canada.

The books are actually pretty good (I haven't gotten around to reading the third one yet). Jared recommended them a while back.

I can't wait to see this movie. When the Bourne Supremacy came out a few years ago, it snuck up on a lot of people with how good it was. I hope to get a similar surprise from the Bourne Ultimatum.
