We are only what sox races in but I have a great feeling about Jeff Gordon.

yea I'm normally a gordon hater but I think your right, he's back to classic gordon form but unfortunately you can't ever count that 48 bunch out, can you believe they are actually better at this point in the season in points than last year? thats a massively scary thought considering how they finish.

I think it'll come down to gordon, edwards, johnson and stewart and it'll be a dang close battle. In my heart I hope tony pulls it off but I'm betting jeff completes the drive for 5 this year, he's gotta hurry because his employee is catching him quickly.

I had great hopes of bobby making the chase this year but it's not looking very likely, I am however liking seeing the 00 running so well this year and liking his chances of making the chase for the first time.

I don't know about everyone else but I think out of the current standings everyone in the top 12 stays where they are except for kasey kane and denny hamilin, I see mark martin and greg biffle replacing them.

Speaking of mark martin, he's freaking on fire the last 3 weeks. He has an average finish over the last 3 weeks of like 6.3rd place, if that team can keep their mechanical problems in check watch out because he's been really good all year and just had some bad luck.

That was a nice tribute to Labonte on the #18. Too bad he didn't finish better.

I don't care if he had a labonte's freaking picture on his hood it's never a bad thing when the 18 (driven by kyle) doesn't finish good....to say he's my least favorite driver is a massive understatement.

in that case yes it's a bummer bobby didn't finish better.

I have absolutly no love for any of the gibbs drivers aside from lagano and he's got another year or two before he'll be worth a crap. Hopefully he doesn't develop the same crappy attitude he's teammates have.

first chance I've really had to be online this week but wow what a great race. I think mark martin just became my sleeper favorite to win the championship, I mean the guy starts out the season with several dnf's and is barely in the top 35 and now a couple races later he's just outside of 12th in points! I'd love nothing more than to see mark finally get his championship for papa hendrick.

Bout time for dega boys and girls! I have this sneaking suspicion bobby will get caught up in/cause the big one this year....it's one of the reasons I halfway hate to watch the freaking race but it should be a good one, always is!

I see Bobby has a new crew chief. Ben Leslie, former crew chief for the #28 Yates Racing Ford. I hope he works out and they don't start playing musical CCs again.

he must be hard to work with, thats the only reasoning I can think of as to why his cc keeps getting changed. I personally still miss fatback which is hard since he's such a big target but someday my aim will improve.

I bet carl edwards and ryan newman need a change of pants at this point. Exciting finish it's always great to see young guys like brad get their first win. I thought bobby could have came from midpack and pull one off this week but thanks to denny hamilin that didn't happen....
