                        • Should the All-Star race travel around?

Keep it at LMS or give tracks like Bristol, 'Dega a shot?

The walls at Lowe's Motor Speedway have been turned yellow which can only mean one thing -- it's all-star time.

Every May, NASCAR takes a "break" for the All-Star race, an exhibition to showcase the best of the sport. The all-star event made its debut in 1985, and except for one year in Atlanta (1986), the race has always been held in Charlotte, N.C.

But what about the 21 other tracks on the schedule? Should they get an opportunity to host NASCAR's premier exhibition event and see 20-plus of the greatest drivers battle for $1 million on their track? Or should tradition hold true and the race remain at LMS?

Major League Base Ball and the NBA rotate their annual All-Star events around their many venues.

Sure, I’d love to see the All-Star Race here at PIR.

I like this race because they all have a chance to get fresh air and there is not a cluster of lap cars, and IMO that’s the way the remainder of the Sprint Car races should be run after the top 12 “Race For The Chase” drivers are mathematically locked in. The out of the chase cars cause all kinds of trouble. JMHO.

Can you tell that I don’t particularly care for that “Sprint” rule ?

I like the old Winston Cup points set up, sorry.

I would love to see the All-Stars at Dover. I can understand why they have it at LMS, though, since most of the teams are stationed there.

I've never liked the Chase. I don't like the tires-or-fuel pit stops for Trucks. I wish NASCAR would listen to the fans and the drivers.

AZ, I see and like what you did with your 'sig'. Mind if I copy the idea?

(Which just makes this race a glorified test track every year for the Coke 600)

                                To add to your schedule:

                                7:30-10:30 Trucks ---all Eastern time.
