Some of the angles they used to do were just so much better. The whole Punk angle right now is just a way more watered down version of SCSA/Vince. The Kane/Cena storyline is atrocious. Alberto Del Rio is just Mexican JBL. Just bad unoriginal writing.
It is better when you're younger, no doubt. But as you mature you can separate what was truly good. Some storylines back then we're just amazing. Brock's build up in 2002, the Evolution stable, SCSA's heel turn at WM17.
And way back, like Stone Cold vs. McMahon/Raven Sandman fued in ECW/ Goldberg's streak/ Original NWO angle.
I could go on. But honestly in the last 3 years can you name an angle that WWE pulled off to perfection? Cause I honestly can't.

There is heat on the Miz for him not breaking R-Truths over the top rope move last night.
Decent Raw, advanced some storylines. Nothing to complain about overall.
WWE does a really good job of these video packages, the Undertaker promo was pretty cool.

Booker also messed up a Benoit suicide dive in the past, it's a spot that's happened a lot and people don't get chewed up like the Miz did. Part of this will be because of the Survivor Series buyrate being blamed on him.
