Anthems and Protests ---
While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.
Thank you for understanding.

And throwing out the first pitch tonight...Kevin Millar!
Tito's press conference was funny. He was saying how hilarious it was that Kevin Millar plays for the Orioles and is throwing the first pitch for a Red Sox game and he will probably bring down the house. He said that only Kevin Millar could do that!
I like this trend, though, of bringing back '04 heroes to throw out first pitches for us!
I'm shocked they dont try to get Mariano to throw out the first pitch.
But yea that is pretty funny how they have those players throwing out the first pitch.
You know what guys, I have pretty negative over the past few days but here comes a bold statement: We will win this series. The comeback starts tonight. Here is why I think we will win the next 3 games:
Game 5: Beckett is pure money in the playoffs and if we can just score 2-3 runs tonight, that should be enough.
Game 6: Now we are back at Fenway for 2 games! Same pitching matchup as game 2 which was a VERY close, back-and forth game until the 11th inning. I expect another close game but I think this time, the luck will swing in our favor.
Game 7: Assuming we get this far, you never know what can happen in a game 7. You can throw the first 6 games out the window. Surely to God, though, there is no way that Jake Westbrook can outpitch Daisuke Matsuzaka twice in one series.
Just bringing this quote that I made before game 5 back up for emphasis!
Calm down. Its only 2 losses. Now you know how Yankee fans feel after losing 2 games to Cleveland(we lost 3). But that series is still not over by far.
You said the Series would go 6 at most anyways.
You could be right.
And IMO Wake should go game 4.
If you go down 3-1? Then you have Josh for game 5 on the road. You win that game and its 3-2. Then Curt in front of the home crowd. So say he pitched a gem. Then its all tied at 3 with Dice-gay pitching for all the marbles in game 7 at home. He is a much better pitcher at home then on the road.
