BTW, it's a shoulder injury for Wake. I'm also hearing Ellsbury will start game 1 as Coco's knees are hurtin' after he made the great catch to end the ALCS.

Not too shabby.
Just one question
Who is Ryan Spilborghs?
Ohhh and he's the guy that will get to 12 HR's tonight....Last edited by Giveemlove; 10-24-2007, 03:16 PM.Ready for the friggen season already!

Classiest thing I have ever witnessed
They announced the Rockies players, some boo's some cheers.
But, when they said the team name......"Rockies"
Very few boo's, the response was more like a sincere appreciation, a kindred spirit for this group of kids.
Thank you so much, I will carry that moment for the rest of my life.
Good luck to you, God bless the fans in Boston.

I was thinking today and talked wit ha few people. If Beckett is able to put together a few more just unbalivable post seasons he will move up on that list. (Not like he is not a great post season pitcher already) What list is that you may say?
When you start talking about that one pitcher you want to pitch on post season game, who will you say? Ruth, Johnson. Cofax, Clemens, etc... Beckett will become that guy people will talk about in that way IMO.
Spilborgs broke into the line up actually in interleague play. Against Baltimore he had a 7 RBI game as a DH. He already took over the PH position and played his way out of Triple-A. Spilly had a lot of big hits late in games this year and got most of the starts in CF after Willy went out.
I have been a follower of Pedrioa all year, will be at 2nd for a long time for the Sox.Last edited by BroncoAV06; 10-25-2007, 11:48 AM.Thanks WhiteDragon!

Seems pretty easy.
Go 4-0 at home and your champs.
Who cares what happens in Colorado.
Now hopefully the Rockies can steal a road game.

Dont you want to sweat it out?
I always remember the 2001 World Series.
The Home team won every game and the D-backs won in 7
That was a great series.
Bun Yun(sp)Kim was like Gagne in that series.
Gave up game tying 2 out 2 run homers in 2 straight games.
But that series was great stuff even though we lost.
