Anthems and Protests ---
While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.
Thank you for understanding.

PCE I was telling my Dad that I would be shocked if the Sox did
not get at least 5 or 6 tonight on Fogg to me
is not that great. My friend from Pitt agreed and said the Sox would win the
game with Fogg, who is mediore at best.
So far so good for Dice K in the 5th up 6-0
my bad feeling is for tomorrow night with Jon Lester, against Cook
who beat Boston earlier this year.
then hopefully Beckett in game 5,. but I jump way ahead
ESPN really irks me. The Red Sox win the World Series and the 2 biggest baseball stories are the Yanks new manager and A-Rod opting out. Who the hell cares? Not me! I would like to hear some coverage on the team that actually won the World Series. Not some team that was eliminated weeks ago! I swear, if you watched ESPN today, you wouldn't even know the World Series ended last night!

I saw that...and by this weekend the World Series will be forgotten thanks to the Patsies and Colts.
And this was one of the best baseball seasons in recent memory, too.
Rest in Peace, Darrent and Damien. You will be forever in our thoughts

Doesn't surprise me at all. ESPN's baseball coverage has been pathetic for the last year and a half.
The red sox won and deserve the coverage, but ESPN isn't interested in positive baseball news. When Yankees games are televised on ESPN, I mute the sound and listen to WCBS radio coverage online. I rarely watch Sports Center and gave up Baseball Tonight in the summer of 2006.

KB, you're not supposed to be agreeing with me! What fun is that?
