                    • I personally think it's a mistake to release Mike Lowell after this season he's shown that he still has the ability to hit when the Sox need him to and he should still be used as the DH.

Look for Boston to get a young third baseman or first baseman in June or July and when the do so long Papi if they don't release him before the end of May

What in the world has happened to Josh Beckett ? my god remember when he should have won the AL Cy Young award ... Three Years Ago and now he can't locate and his movement is all but gone and for the last three years in arow he's had back , hip , knee problems i think that his best days are behind him .

i mean Jon Lester is already our ACE he's hands down the best pitcher on our staff (maybe not so far this year) but he is and then i'd say Lackey or Clay but man i can't wait for Casey Kelly and Lars Anderson

You have something good to say about Clay

                        J/K you.

I sure hope Beckett's best days are not behind us, we just dropped a lot of money into him.

                        • Beckett started out poorly a couple seasons ago also. I'm really not that worried. He still has the velocity. He'll be fine.

All players go through a funk from time to time.
