Anthems and Protests ---
While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.
Thank you for understanding.

I'm going to give you the benefit of the doubt and assume you were kidding or just trying to pull someone's chain.
My favorite Yankee Pitcher was Ron Guidry ...... favorite Hitter was Don Mattingly.... and favorite 2B was Willie Randolph...... Guidry is the Yankees pitching coach, Mattingly the Yankees hitting coach, and Randolph the Mets manager.
This is my 30th season as a Yankee fan.......... seems like an AWFULLY long time to ride a bandwagon  .

Yep. I'm thinking I should have been bumped off the wagon during the years the Yankees "Ace" was Rick Rhoden, Rick Reuschel, or Ed Whitson Maybe I'm a "real fan" after all .
I don't think he can be any worse than Lenny DiNardo.
Yes he can.
Thanks to B4Bronco6 for the sig! RB #22 Wisconsin Badgers Know this above all else. This life is your only life. So while you live life, make the most of every second, minute and hour that you have. Time stops for no one. Don't stop for time. Seize the day.

ERA doesn't mean anything if you haven't had many opportunites to prove yourself. Wells is washed up. I'm sorry, I've respected him long but he really is washed up. Time to hang the hat.

He will retire after the season, but I wouldn't write him off BEFORE he throws a pitch for the red sox this year.... wouldn't Wells be an example of someone who hasn't had a chance to prove himself this year??
Wells has too much pride not to give his best now that he is healthy.
Schilling and the red sox are playing flawlessly tonight...... the Yankees look flat, but that goes hand-in-hand with Schilling's dominant performance. No excuses.... the sox look great.
