Anthems and Protests ---
While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.
Thank you for understanding.
--Broncos Country Message Board Staff
My thanks to you and all our fellow Broncomainiacs who have served in our Nation's Forces.
Even with all the great plays in store for the orange and blue faithful this season, you guys (and gals) are the true heroes.
I repeat everyone's sentiments...Welcome back and THANK YOU for all you do!!!
Now that you're back, can you think of anything we can do for our fellow Bronco fans serving in Iraq/Afghanistan? I have a family member in the Green Zone who has asked me to record all the games on DVD and send them out. Can you think of any other Bronco-flavored ideas?
Thought I would be home also for the season and then we were extended. Should be a crime to be extended and not make it home for the kickoff of the season.
Again, Welcome Home and GO BRONCOS!!!
I think it is a crime to force any volunteer soldier to have his duty extended one minute longer than he signed up for.
Welcome back now sit back and enjoy some football.
I got back in July and now I am retired. My first football season as a civilian in over 21 years.
Thanks for you service.

Thank you for the sacrifices you've made, and continue to make for the freedom and safety of every American man, woman, and child. Thats from the heart.
