  • Champ vs. Boss

Just heard Champ on the radio, he will be going against his little bro, Boss in the game Sun. Not exactly head to head as Boss plays D too, but this is the first time they have played each other in the NFL. Champ said he's gonna kick his ass. He said he'll never hear the end of it if Detroit wins. I've never seen Boss play, so I am interested to see him.

I have to hand it to Champ and Boss' parents. Creative names....lucky that they made it.

Could you imagine: "Champ, clean up on isle three, Champ."

Both "Champ" & "Boss" are nicknames- not their given names.

Yeah it is Roland Bailey and Rodney Bailey.

And Georgia also has another Bailey. I wonder if he is in the family too? Nope he isn't just looked it up.

He has another brother named Ronald Bailey.

Interesting fact: Boss Bailey runs a 4.35 40 time.

Incidentally, Champ also said Boss's contract is up this year, so Champ has hopes of getting Boss to Denver. With that kind of speed, he would fit into our LB core. It'd be kinda fun having brothers on the team . . . especially if Boss can tackle as well as Champ.

Not a case of if he can tackle as well as Champ, but can he tackle better than Gold/Webster?

Since he's got two arms, and two legs, I'm guessing the answer if probably

On the broncos website, there's a video called ( thursday: Champ Bailey ) he talks about playing against his brother and one thing he say is that Boss Bailey is in his final year of his contract and he also say that hopefully he can get his brother on the broncos team (jokingly). Thoughts ?? What do you guys think about this ?.

:offtopic: Am I the only one tired of Webster celebrating every tackle he makes? Even if the RB gets a first down, Webster is celebrating like he did something special. Its getting pretty old.

I'm kind of tired of Webster celebrating also. If the running back gets the first down not matter if it's 1 or 10 yards, he as done his job. Once our defense can finally stop the run, then we can celebrate.

I can't say anything about Boss, but Champ is not his given name. ...It's Roland.

sbutk: i can see why Denver is taking TO's right now [trailing by 7, with 30 seconds left in the half]. but why Oakland???

Ronald played CB with Champ at GA. Cousin Kenny Bailey played CB/RB after Champ left.
