Anthems and Protests ---
While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.
Thank you for understanding.

Just heard it on TV around 6am. They say he lost too much blood and even if he were to live he would have extreme mental illness because of the oxygen in the brain.
Broncos fans, since we have been in this situation before, lets give respect to a fallen player just like Darrent. Pray for the Taylor family and help the Skins fans as much as we can to cope with their loss.
Looks like god is one step close to building his football team in heaven.
thats really sad, i woke up early to check out espn to see how he was before i went to work, its a shame and my thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends
It's really sad how everything played out and I don't wanna sound like a jerk or anything, but when I heard it was him, it really wasn't all that surprising..
I think most people knew it was gonna happen because he has been in critical condition for a while now. Darrents was just so sudden, thats why his death stings a little more.
Damn this is devastating...Absolutely devastating...I mean...He got shot in the leg...how could this happen to him?...This guy played like he was a lion who hadnt eaten in days...He was ruthless...I'm so sad...This really reminds me of the morning D-Will was killed...Damn,my condolences to the Redskins organisation...The Redskins Players and most importantly his very young family.

I agree. Its very similar. Except when D-will died I was online and then BAM I started reading threads about him being dead. With Taylor I knew he was hurt and it just popped up on ESPN. Very sad.
It was around the same time that I found out both times I think as well.
