TD and Zimmerman Should absolutly be in the Hall of Fame, I doubt they will though based on the history of the way broncos have been treated in the past. Maybe with the more pub that we have gotten over the past year about no broncos making it, maybe they will throw us a bone and put them both in, can only hope. And by pub I mean sports center mentioned it once.

Same story different day. Hate to say it the way they pick the Hall of Famers is a joke. Floyd Little, Frank Tripucka, Randy Gradishar, Zimmerman, and Terrell Davis all should be there. But those in power don't have a clue when it comes to talent. Sorry this is a very sore spot for me.
        GO BRONCOS!

Remember the sun will rise and set, whether the Broncos win or not.

Rich Jackson probably deserves to be in there as much as Gradishar/Zimmerman.

I would agree that Gradashar and Tombstone Jackson were two of the best to ever play their positions. It is a joke (a bad one at the expense of these two fine players) that they are not already in the Hall.

When you leave the voting up to sportswriters I guess you deserve what you get.

Of the 26 semifinalist & 2 seniors committee nominees (Marshall Goldberg and Emmitt Thomas) one of which actually should have been Floyd Little, but he finished 1 vote short I am breaking down the list and honestly, I think we have an honest shot of seeing at least one Bronco possibly two inducted.

Wide receiver Cris Carter (First-year eligible)
              Cornerback Darrell Green (First-year eligible)
              Linebacker Rickey Jackson (New Semi-Finalist)
Defensive Tackle Cortez Kennedy (New Semi-Finalist)
              Defensive End Richard Dent
              Defensive End Fred Dean
              Defensive End Charles Haley
              Linebacker Randy Gradishar
              Linebacker Kevin Greene
              Linebacker Derrick Thomas
              Linebacker Andre Tippett
              Cornerback Lester Hayes
              Center Dermontti Dawson
              Guard Russ Grimm
              Guard Bob Kuechenberg
              Guard Randall McDaniel
              Tackle Joe Jacoby
              Tackle Gary Zimmerman
              Running back Terrell Davis

              Wide receiver Art Monk
              Wide receiver Andre Reed
              Wide receiver Steve Tasker
              Quarterback Ken Stabler
              Punter Ray Guy
Former commissioner Paul Tagliabue --- The only lock

                  True... oh so true!!!

How in the world does Steve Tasker make it to the final 26 and not Steve Atwater?

If I was to pick my 7 it would be

                  Tagliabue
                  Charles Haley
                  Darrell Green
                  Art Monk
                  Derrick Thomas
                  TD
                  Gary Zimmerman

I'd like to know why Steve Atwater isn't up for consideration.

                    1990s All-Decade Team

                    1990 Pro Bowl
                    1991 Pro Bowl
                    1992 Pro Bowl
                    1993 Pro Bowl
                    1994 Pro Bowl
                    1995 Pro Bowl
                    1996 Pro Bowl
                    1998 Pro Bowl

He laid the wood like few others in the game and his famous hit on Okoye was one of the classic hits out there. Check out his 173 tackles in his second season!

Here's why Chris Carter is a lock.

                        Among the league's all-time top 50

                        Receptions: 2
                        Receiving yards: 5
                        Receiving TDs: 2
                        Yards from scrimmage: 22
                        Rush/Receive TDs: 5

                        http://www.pro-football-reference.co...s/CartCr00.htm

Hes behind only Jerry Rice in two important categories that HOF voters will consider and is top 5 in two other important categories.

I think Darrell Green also has a good chance to get in especially because he played in Washington DC and he was good for a very long time.

There are plenty of worthy players including guys like Derrick Thomas. There are a minimum of 4 spots open and a maximum of 7. Im really hoping a Bronco gets inducted! If not this year, I would be shocked if Shannon Sharpe isnt a first ballot hofer next year.

Wow thats a pretty good case, especially considering how long he was a devastating hitter in the NFL.

If you compare his numbers against, oh say, Ronnie Lott, they aren't that different. Lott was "only" a ten time Pro-Bowler. The reality is, there really aren't that many defensive players, let alone DB's in the HOF
