another incident where someone attributes winning to a quarterback when they want him to look better than his talent indicates.

    "he's a winner!"

congrats, if you need that to tell yourself he's not half the qb cutler is, more power to you. you used to be a likeable charger fan dude, but this has turned you into a dink. quit defending this schmuck. you don't have to.

they have pretty similar numbers. but jays numbers have come with two of the worst broncos teams in recent memory, while phillips numbers have come with more time in the league and the best team in chargers history.

jc, is it really that hard? rivers has a suporting cast. the chargers COULD have won it all the last couple of years. he would be nothing without LT, Gates and Merrimam. Your whole output is wack as far as im concerned. Cutler is playing on a really bad Broncos team. We lost to every NFC team we played this year so don't say stupid $#!%....mmmmk.

I'm so sick of hearing this winner crap JC.

You are one of my likeable charger fans.

    Why bring it up?

Do you think Rivers wins you games? Or is it that dominant Oline, the MVP running back, and the pro bowl tight end? Don't forget about that defense.

    Please give it a rest...

If Cutler had half of those weapons, he'd be a winner..

And if Cutler had half the talent Rivers had around him his first year, the results would most likely be different. Cutler has 10 times the talent Rivers could even dream of having. He's already a better QB in this league.

Just like Champ has said: "You're surrounded by great players, but you're not a great player. I think he needs to understand where he stands in this league - where he stands on his team first and foremost."
    Great point.

RB's Bell vs LT - LT wins

    TE's Scheff/Alexander/Graham vs Gates - Gates wins

    Oline- please....

Advantage to Rivers for having pro bowlers to "BAIL" him out.
