I couldnt get the article without registering, but I hope he does start. From everything I read he is working with the first team. He has also lost weight. I hope he becomes the starter.

Weaver is the better all round player imo. I think he will be the starter. However, the other TEs will get plenty of action as well.
Although I think Weaver will start, it will still be TE by committee.

I don't care who starts as long as they're playing well. I just hope our tight ends can play as well as the three-headed tight end did the last time we were without Shannon.

I don't think Chamberlain will get the starting nod by oepning day, but will be used a lot in the 2 tight end set.

I think that is very possible Jav. The quality of them combined just might be better than that of the committee the last time we were without sharp.

They should run a lot of 2 TE sets since Byron and Weaver are both decent. Gives u more choices.

This morning Chamberlain and Weaver ran with the first team. Both made some good catches. It will be a good training camp battle.

Darkhorse -- If he gets any reps, look out for Santiago. He is running with the third team at this time, but looks really good and makes a huge target for a tight end.

He should be a nice target. I think the guy is like 6'7".
