  • Just look at the Green bay game last year and you'll see the talent Selvin has, that one run down by the goal line was one of the best runs I've ever seen.
The kid's determined, has put on some muscle, and fits the scheme really well, if he stays healthy, he will be a monster this year!

How brilliant will Shanny look when an UDFA runs for 1,500 yards in his system, I'm sure Mike and Mike wouldn't call him overrated then!

No, but Whiteyford will still find a way to diss him for giving up on a guy who wanted out of the team and city, and will still cry about not re-signing Elam for $3m a year.
      In Manning I trust.

The link you posted lists Alridge as a WR, but if you click on the Bronco team site from that link, the official roster has him as a RB w/a RB #. If we were allowed to observe offensive practice sessions during position, we could tell just by seeing what to what position he goes.

Scouting reports I've read on him indicate that his best chance of making the roster would be as a KR/PR. He may be faster than Eddie Royal. Reports also say his receiving skills need some polishing which is to be expected since he played mostly RB at Houston. But, for the moment, he is listed as a RB.

          • Size

There are many things which can be sized: height; weight; shoe; hat; hand; thigh; bicep; neck; brain; and, heart.

Just being in the NFL means the first eight of the above are all within a general range. It's those last two items that can really kick the the preceding eight into gear and make them perform.

Selvin Young doesn't currently have all the sizes that Travis, I'm sorry, Travis who? I'm looking around, but I see no ... well, anyway, it may be that the size of Selvin's heart and brains will command his other sizes to step up.

I think Ben Tate will be the best back taken in the 2010 draft. (5/3/10)

                          Primary Back up- Young
                          Third down/Passing down- Pittman
                          4th RB- Hall
                          PS- Alridge
FB- Sapp/Hillis( in the unlikely event that Lorenzo Neal is signed- Neal/Hillis)
