Maybe I am an ******* for saying this but Darrent Williams was a crappy pick. Yeah it sucks that he was killed, but only getting 2 years out of a second round pick qualifies as a bad pick... In those two years he showed flashes, but he wasnt that good.....

No way Jarvis Moss can be on the list. At least not yet!

I'll grant you that this is a homer thread right now. Or Rather I should call it, A very optimistic out look on things.

But I think Royal being a slam dunk is right, As well as Clady. Regular season or not. Thomas also looks good and had some great battles with the Cowboys OL. It's not just TC anymore, and they still look ,not just good, But Royal/Amazing, Clady/Amazing and Thomas/Good.

    Hixon - Back up
    Kuper - Starter
    Eslinger - Back up

When I say Pro Bowl, I am saying they will win at least one and All Pro is multiple Pro Bowls appearances.

That is how I see it shaping up.
Shame Hixon's still not around but I'm glad he's doing well in NY - he would've mentally divebombed had he stayed in Denver after the collision with Everett. So I can't really bring myself to call it a "bad" pick considering that really freakish circumstances surrounded his departure.

Clady- good now will keep getting better
Royal- don't count on him to sit behind d-jack once marshall gets back
Torain- will be good once he gets back
Larsen- versatility will make him valuable on special teams but he could breakout
Jack Will- has top corner potential especially when learning from the best
Polumbus- could become a nice rt; kuper will play their until ben hamilton goes
Woodyard- today special team stud tomorrow ????
Lichensteiger: nalen and wiegmann are great but not gettin any younger
I think this is by far the best draft we've had in some time! What ever the nay sayers say!

I think our recent talent pickups are very good and any old, dead wood we can purge (like John Lynch-nothing against him but it was time) the better as this team will be very good within one year going the youth route. Cutler will be a top 5 QB but we need some more beef and toughness on the front defensive 7. But we are getting there. The O line just needs some time and experience. We are about a year away but could be good this year and see signs of a resurgence. It will be fun to see it come together with Prater, Royal and some special teams talent.
