Glad Barrett is back he is physically a monster he needs time to learn plays and formations he will be our starting free saftey next year with William Moore at strong saftey, what a combo that would be we got the play maker in Moore with the hard hitting Barrett aswell as Bailey on one side and Jack Williams on the other hopfully.

Huh... after all that debate on how good Barrett played and how he played well enough to make our 53 man roster... I owuld have sworn he would have been good enough to pick up by another team.

Apparently other teams thought what we thought...He has good physical ability but his mental side of the game needs work.

I said they'd all be signed (except Harris) but he was 50/50. I'm still hoping they sign Paulescu too...

If Kern goes down, does poorly in the regular season, or for whatever reson gets suspended or something, Paulescu would be good insurance.

I don't know if Paulescu will last in a practice squad, he is a nice punter and there must be other teams wanting him.

I don't know that I've ever seen a punter put on a practice squad. It's kind of a waste of a valuable practice squad spot because punters and kickers are far less likely to get injured during a season than other positions.

We've definitely had a couple of kickers on there before. Ernster, Hayden Epstein...Prater was signed off Miami's. It kind of seems like a waste, but most punters are a little erratic in their early years and keeping Paulescu on call may be prudent.
