  • 4th to 5th Round Pick for Foxworth?

The Broncos have told CB Domonique Foxworth to leave team headquarters because he will be traded shortly.

Rookie Jack Williams flashed serious playmaking ability in the preseason and Karl Paymah is ready to take over as Denver's nickel back. Foxworth could bring back a fourth- to fifth-round pick in compensation. Potential suitors include Cleveland, Baltimore, New England, Houston, and Seattle.

The other report didn't have any info on the potential value of Foxworth. I figured it would be easier to notice and if it needs to be moved the mods will do it for me.

Nique and a 4th for a 3rd round pick would be decent. Seems we prefer using players to move up in the draft.

          R Ayers - B Cofield - A Haynesworth - CJ ohnson
          J Anderson - J Beason - DJ Williams
          R Bailey - P Amukamara - R Hill - A Goodman

I don't mind as long as he doesn't go to the Pats. That'd be harsh on the guy.

Well, I hope he gets a chance to start somewhere. Even if it is for the Patriots.

I would think we would get a 6th round compensatory picks at least if we just let him walk next year.

Does anyone know if the team that trades for him would get the supplemental pick if he only plays there one year?

I think they do because it is based on losing a FA offset by FAs signed.

We really can't afford Sheppard, Bly, and Champ...way too much money invested at CB.

you know... if we pull a pick or two out of this deal i wonder...

could shanny be looking to make a move up already, targeting somebody that could be higher on the board than where we may draft?

definitely an interesting idea. but i still like the move. foxy sort of hinted at this last season anyway when we brought in bly, he felt he could start. he's a good dude, deserves the oppurtunity...
